When stigma gets in the way of treating substance use disorder with evidence-based medication for addiction treatment (MAT), everyone loses, including hospital staff. This training considers how treating opioid use disorder as simply another brain illness can reduce discrimination against people who use drugs and increase staff job satisfaction. Participants will gain actionable tools to engage providers and front-line staff in behavior change to deliver equitable addiction treatment.
